Greg Schermbeck

To fulfill their social-impact focus, SchermCo reinvests 1% of their time/funds back into the communities they serve

Greg was recently selected as a 2015 Marshall Memorial Fellow with the German Marshall Fund.  The Fellowship entails a six-week immersion across five different European cities where fellows connect with policy leaders across diverse markets to build transatlantic relations.

Previously, Greg served as Nashville Prep’s Founding Dean of Students, Science Department Chair, and Director of Innovation over his three years with the school.  In 2012, Nashville Prep was named the highest performing charter school in TN, according to Stanford University.  Greg began his career as a Teach For America Corps Member in Charlotte, NC, where he taught Science and coached varsity football at West Charlotte High School.  Greg earned his undergraduate degree in Urban Studies from the College of Wooster and served as the Captain of the Football team.  He recently graduated from Vanderbilt University with his M.Ed. in Leadership and Organizational Performance.
