Kevin Chamberlin is a full-time scholar of architectural design and theory and part-time adventurer. He graduated from the University of Tennessee’s College of Architecture + Design in 2012 with a Bachelor of Architecture. A dedication to designing a sense of place through sustainability and energy conservation was imperative to Kevin’s education and something that he holds with very high regard. Kevin was a member of Living Light, the University of Tennessee’s entry into the 2011 Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon. In his time with the project, Kevin served one of five team leaders for the project as well as led tours of the home to the Department of Energy jurors and the public at the decathlon. During his studies, Kevin also spent a semester abroad in the Spring of 2011 at Politechnika Krakowska in Krakow, Poland studying Architecture.
Kevin moved to Charlotte in 2012 and works at shaping the built environment as an Architect and Director of Marketing at Bartlett Hartley & Mulkey Architects PA. Kevin enjoys photography, soccer, and levity – in no particular order.
